The hoover is causing my electrical installation to break
For once, you were motivated to clean up ... As soon as it is turned on, your vacuum cleaner turns off your electricity, including the lights! What’s going on with your appliance? To find a solution, follow this guide.
LES CAUSES POUR CETTE PANNE :
WARNING
Before carrying out any work on your appliance, make sure you properly disconnect it from the mains electricity supply
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
A problem with the electrical outlet
Sometimes the plug becomes defective, especially if you use an extension cord. Check for a visible blackening of the socket around the wall socket, or the Hoover. Then try plugging in another machine into the same socket. If your meter doesn’t break again, you’ll have to blame the vacuum cleaner in this instance. You can also plug the Hoover into another socket: if it breaks again, your vacuum cleaner is at fault. On the other hand, if the electrical outlet has failed and no machines work when plugged into it, then it will need to be replaced.
The vacuum’s power cord is in poor condition
If the appliance blows the circuit breaker, first check that the power cable is not cut or severed. Also, check that the male studs of the power supply socket are not blackened or show signs of overheating. If this is the case, replace your Hoover’s power cord immediately.
The cable reel is disconnected or torn
