Electric thermostat 260° for ARISTON HOTPOINT / INDESIT ovens, cookers
In order to achieve the ideal temperature preparing your dishes of choice in the oven, a procedure takes place within your appliance. Located behind the control knob, the purpose of the thermostat is to regulate the temperature. Equipped with a thermocouple sensor (the tiny metal cone that you can see at the bottom of the oven machine), it will detect the temperature of the oven in real time and will then alert the electronic module.
If the temperature recorded by the thermostat is too low, the heating elements start up. If, on the other hand, the temperature is already too high, the heating elements switch off.
The problems that may indicate a faulty thermostat are:
Your appliance doesn't heat up as normal
Your appliance continuously heats up
Your appliance stops working without reason
The appliance won't switch on
A pyrolysis problem
The oven won't heat up
The machine's fan doesn't stop
There you have an overview of the problems that can be caused by your oven's thermostat! If you notice one of these signs and, having checked it, you realise that your thermostat is defective, it must be replaced
